Babylon Circus touring Australia in January 2014

After four hugely popular studio albums and more than 1,500 gigs from Central Park to WOMADelaide, Babylon Circus are set to release their latest album, Never Stop and make a triumphant return to the Australian stage in a national tour.

While there is no denying the reggae and ska influences in their music… the sound of the Balkans can be heard in the way they use the brass and the idea of mixing the deep bass groove of reggae with the express train of a gypsy brass has to be heard to be believed… (Blog Critics.)

Dancing in the war-torn Middle East, being chased through the streets of Dublin by police and “touring” Russian hospitals after drunkenly tumbling down a staircase: Babylon Circus.. certainly lives up to his French punk-fusion band’s decadent carnival name. (Courier Mail)

Singing in French and English and mixing some raucous punk and swing into their epic sound, this energetic and theatrical group never fails to get people up and dancing – sometimes even on the stage. In 2014 the band will be taking over Woodford Festival, So Frenchy So Chic In The Park in Melbourne and Sydney as well as playing a series of shows for their dedicated and ever-growing Australian fan base.
